So I have had a lot going on lately and have not been able to write. Last week the college and youth had a Pumpkin carving contest! It was so much fun I'll put pictures up sometime when I get a chance soon. Then we had a big family thing for my GG because she turned 94! That was also a lot of fun.
This past week was also crazy and busy. My good friend Joanna is getting married and I threw her a shower on Saturday for her and it was a blast! We had a little tea party and I made a barbie cake! I will put pictures up soon of that also. Then my dog Sophie died Saturday afternoon that was really sad she was 11 and I was the one who picked her out when she was a puppy.
Tonight we had Girl's Night! It was a lot of fun! we had a Halloween costume party. Then this week and next week I'll be busy with Judgment House with my church. Well hope everyone has an awesome week!

Sacred Laughter
"It is often just as sacred to laugh as is to pray."
-Charles Swindoll
"Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, devoted to prayer."
-Romans 12:12-
This weekend I went with a group of 15 to Indy for the Ovarian Cancer Walk. We all went for Mrs. Kim from church. Well we all drove up to Indy for the walk for walk and went to the mall afterwords. It was so much fun. The title of this blog is Sacred Laughter is because that was the name of our team that went. The quote and the verse are on the shirts that we had made for the walk and they also said "Walking for Kimberly". How true it is to rejoice always! To have patients in all of our trials, and to be praying continually. God can get us through all of our trials and tribulations if we fully rely on him and get our strength through God alone!
I hope everyone had an amazing weekend! Don't forget Romans 12:12!

Labor Day Weekend
I hope every one had a great 3 day weekend for Labor Day! Sorry this is so late getting up but it has been one crazy week. Well my weekend started last Friday because I do not have classes on Fridays witch I love. On Friday I spent the
afternoon with my aunt Nancy making rainbow cookies. It was a lot of fun spending time with her because we don't hang out very often. Well I did have to work that night then after that I babysat for a family that has a little 2 year old boy. We always have fun!
On Saturday I spent the day with my whole family well everyone who showed up. My cousin Neil and his wife Courtney were in town for Neil's ordination into the ministry. It was nice to be able to be a part of that and spend time with the family. I always enjoy our family gatherings.
Well on Sunday I sang "Enough" by Barlow Girl with one of the girls in our youth group in our morning church serves. It was a lot of fun I enjoyed singing with her. That night after the evening serves all the youth got together in the gym at the church and we spent the rest of the evening playing kick ball, wally ball, and flicker ball. We all had a lot of fun hanging out.
The nice big day off was a blast. I spent the day with my mom and my sister shopping. We found a lot of good sales. I was very excited to find a nice dress on sale and getting it 75 dollars cheaper than what it was worth. It was an exciting weekend! I hope everyone else had a great weekend as well!

Eventful Thrusdays!
Wow this has been a long week! It has been hard trying to get used to my new schedule of going back to school then going to work in the evenings with day care and nanny every other day. But it is starting to get better thankfully! Well today was Thursday so on these days I go to class come home then go to work to my nanny job. Well today after class I went shopping and found a new outfit to wear on Sunday because I am singing at our church with one of the girls in the youth group and I am so excited! Well after that I got to come home and take a short nap (I love to take naps). Well the family I nanny for have four kids: Lauryn, Matthew, Julia, and Abigail. So today I took Julia to ice skating lessons. After she was done Julia, Abigail and I went to McDonald's to grab something to eat then went to Target to kill some time before we had to go back to pick Matthew up from hockey. Well at Target Julia decides to throw a lovely fit because she wanted a toy got back to the car she somehow got her hand smashed in my car door so starts to throw an even bigger fit. At this time I about had it. Thankfully I just started to keep a big bag of kid books in my car and she finally calmed down after looking at the books. The fun part was on the way home from picking Matthew up he read half the books out loud to all of us in all his voices the whole way home and it was really funny we were all laughing in the car. It was a good way to end the night.
I am looking forward to this weekend because tomorrow I am spending the day with one of my aunt's and we are going to make cookies and Saturday will be spent with all my family because some will be in from out of town. I love to spend time with my family! Its always so much fun! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

Weekend in Macon
This weekend I spent with some friends in Macon, Ga. It was so much fun! Thank you Lindsey and Fred for opening your home to us this weekend! It was nice to get away and relax with some friends. It was nice to see their kids Joshua and Anna Bell. I enjoyed singing Hillsong Kids with Joshua singing on the top of his lungs and telling all of us we needed to sing with him. Anna was a lot of fun too. She loved bringing books to me to read to her. Here are a few pictures of me with Anna Bell and Joshua from the weekend. Hope everyone had a good weekend as well!

A New Start
Last Wednesday was my last day as the Daylilies teacher at work. It was a sad day. This semester I am going back to school full time so now I will be working part time a few day
s a week at the day care. Today was my first day being home and not going into work at 6:30a.m. It was a weird morning for me. It is going to be an interesting semester. I will be very busy. Not only am I taking classes full time, 3 days a week I will be at the day care and 2 days I have a nanny job. I am excited about the nanny job! I will be with a family that I have baby sat for the past 8 years. I have seen their family grow from 2 kids to now 4 and enjoy being around them. The picture is of my last day at work with my class.
